If you’re an independent business owner living in Washtenaw County you will want to list your business in the Directory on BuyLocalAnnArbor.com and in the {City Guide} app.

Participation in the {Rewards} campaign consists of: listing in the Directory, listing in the {City Guide} app – and in the fall – participating in the use of our plastic {Rewards} loyalty card. The entire program is currently free. You will not need to “subscribe” until you are totally impressed with the results. We’ll even give you some {Rewards} cards to sell yourself. There’s nothing to lose. Next year, in 2012, if you do start to see patrons come calling with their {Rewards} card, an inexpensive annual subscription rate will be offered to remain a partner. It’s a win-win-win situation – for you, for the local patron and best of all – for Ann Arbor.

In order to become a participant of Buy Local Ann Arbor {Rewards} campaign we ask that you meet the criteria adapted from the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) below:

Private, employee, community or cooperative ownership

Owned in majority by area resident(s)

Full decision-making for the business lies with owner(s)

No more than 15 outlets, bases of operations within MI

If you qualify, you are invited to join our campaign and will receive our “Partner” designation. Upon membership, you will receive our new member packet which includes window clings, and signage to let your customers know that you are a {Rewards} campaign participant. Join us today to begin benefiting from our local coalition.
